Workbook to use with “Guerrilla Marketing for Writers”

Even though I have three books that have been published by Adams Media, a national publishing house, I’ve found that the best marketing and promotions that I can do for my books (all 14 of them) is the guerrilla marketing that I do for them. What I mean by this is that I am the one who has the most vested and invested in the success of the books. One of my favorite resources for this activity is the the epic Guerrilla Marketing for Writers by Jay Conrad Levinson, Rick Frishman, and Michael Larsen.

While it’s a great book with over 100 excellent marketing tools, I felt that I needed more to make it work for me.

So I took the tools (they call them “weapons”) in the book and created a workbook that I could use over and over again for each book I was working on. Each weapon page includes an explanation of that marketing weapon and then I added space for you to write in how you might use that weapon for the promotion of your book. While I’ve provided several formats, I suggest that you get the .pdf version and print it out — that way you can write your notes on the pages.

As I’ve stated in the workbook, it has not been authorized nor is it endorsed by the Guerrilla Marketing for Writers authors. I created this to help me, and perhaps it can also help you.
