Game Design
by Stuart Gustafson
Hi, my name is Stuart Gustafson; let me make something very clear right now: I do not design games for a living!
I do, however, design games, and I do charge for my work. What's the difference you ask? The difference is that I have other sources of livable income. I design games because it is fun and I get to work with exciting and energetic people. Because this is not my primary income, I can be very flexible in time frames, ideas, and the cost to you.
What else do I do, and why am I qualified to help you develop your game?
Nationally published author with more books at various stages in the pipeline
College instructor in mathematics and finance (BA, Mathematics; MBA, Entrepreneurship and Finance)
Recently retired (early retirement package) from an international Fortune 25 company
Travel for relaxation as well as on-location research and writing for book ideas
Have developed over twenty-five games for personal enjoyment; several filed with US Patent and Trademark Office
Honesty and fairness are critical in any relationship; believe in straight-forward dealing (i.e., without lawyers!)
You can read more about my books by clicking on the Stuart's home "splat" near the top of this page, which will take you to www.stuartgustafson.com/index.html.
My specialties in game design are board games and card games. I like to develop a board game where you can have more than one "deck of cards" with which to play. This brings in increased levels of difficulty (or knowledge), and can add to your sales volume and margins!
